Terms of Service

SiteIQ is job and crew management software for building companies, operated by Kupriq. These terms cover your use of the service. By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. You must be authorised to act for the business you set up in SiteIQ.

Your data stays yours

The jobs, customers, staff records, time records, notes, photos and variations you put into SiteIQ belong to you. We store and process them to provide the service to you, and for no other purpose. We don't sell your data or use it to train anything.

Using SiteIQ with your staff

SiteIQ records working time and, depending on the features you switch on, location. If you use it to record information about your staff, you are the one responsible for telling them what you collect and why, and for meeting your obligations to them under the Privacy Act 2020 and employment law. The app shows staff a plain-English notice wherever location is being recorded, but that supports your obligations — it doesn't replace them.

Records and accuracy

SiteIQ helps you keep records; it doesn't verify them. Clock times, GPS readings, variation prices and customer signatures are records of what was entered or measured at the time. GPS in particular can be inaccurate or unavailable, especially indoors or in remote areas. Don't rely on it alone for decisions that matter — including anything to do with someone's pay or conduct.

Availability

We work to keep SiteIQ running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Parts of the app need an internet connection and won't work without one. We may change or discontinue features, and we'll give reasonable notice of anything significant.

Payment

Where a plan is paid, fees and billing terms are what we've agreed with you. You can stop using SiteIQ at any time.

Ending your account

You can ask us to close your account and delete your data at any time. We may suspend an account that is being used unlawfully, or in a way that puts the service or other customers at risk.

Business use and the Consumer Guarantees Act

SiteIQ is supplied for business use. You acknowledge that you acquire it for the purposes of a business, and that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply. You agree it is fair and reasonable for the Act to be excluded on that basis. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Liability

SiteIQ is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the issue arose.

Governing law

New Zealand law applies, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction.
